I'm still single but I think Filipino parenting is good. It rooted from the idea of having close family ties. Parents has a crucial role in child development. The path that the child will take depends on how he/she is raised. And in my opinion, Filipinos are good parents.

For me, filipino parenting is good. Most of the parents are so responsible on how they will going to raise up their children for a better future especially in giving and providing good education to their children. Filipino parents strongly values good education for their children. Most of the parents believe that good education can able to prepared their children to a better future.

Filipino parenting are good. Most of the Filipino parents are so responsible in raising their children. Good parenting to us are giving the child the opportunity to go to a good school. And always telling the kids the need to finish college education for a better future. Keeping in the child the good values by giving adequate guidance.

well actually a lot of Filipino parents now are irresponsible. But there are also a lot of Filipino parents that still have the traditional way of doing their responsibility, so i would have to say, its good.

Different way and different culture with other countries but still Filipino parents selflessly love their children. They would sacrifice everything for them even if they would starve for it.

I still consider the Filipino parents as one of the "most loving" in the World. Due to our close family ties our parents go the extra mile to extend their helping hand even if their children already have their own family. What I dislike though about other Filipino parents is the "utang na loob" attitude. It is given that we show love and respect to our elders for the “love and care” that they devoted to us but then, this is the “love and care” that we rightfully deserve. It disgusts me that some parents raise their child with the expectation that when the time comes they’ll return the favor. And when they don't receive what they have expected they consider their child a total failure with "walang utang na loob". Im not talking base on experience but I believe that this has been a common situation in our society.
