Any person worth having is worth waiting a few years for... If you both have something really special then take the plunge... You'd be surprised at how well a long distance relationship can work out... Granted, it won't be easy and you'll both go through your bouts of loneliness... However, the rewards for making it through are worth every LONELY SECOND...
Just remember there are thousands of couples going through long distance relationships every day... There are thousands of resources available to help you both make it through and keep the relationship feeling alive and new... With the Internet you can both keep in contact through Internet phones, chats, instant messengers and more (skype, YM, MSN, gmail, Chikka)... The only thing stopping a long distance relationship from succeeding in these times is the relationship itself.
If your relationship is rocky or isn't meant to pan out in the end, a long distance situation brings that to your attention quite quickly. This may be the reason so many people are hesitant to get involved in this type of relationship. However, if you are truly a match made in heaven, a few thousand miles can only make your relationship that much stronger in the long-term....
As to what to tell your boyfriend/girlfriend… just let him/her know that you think he's/she's worth the wait. You know you both can make it, and that you hope he/she feels the same way...

This kind of relationship WON'T definitely WORK for me! If ever my partner would decide of going abroad or anywhere, ako jud putlon tanan! Lisod na kung ako pa cya ipa expect sa wala. I know myself better than anyone else. So sa ako masulti lang " DI JUD NAKO MAKAYA" . For me , Loving Someone you can't see nor talk with every once in a while is "USELESS" . Yes, I believe in the saying "LOVE IS UNCONDITIONAL" but with this kind of situation, I would never be happy! Mamatay ra ko sa kamingaw. Why suffer, When Both parties could be happy and contented with someone else who could always be present Physically and emotionally ....and not to forget S3xually! hehehe I've got a lot of friends though who's been in this kind of relationship for several years now, and I'm so PROUD of them!

Agree ko some point sa imong message... pero moabot ang panahon na isa inyoha needed mangibang bayan for the sake of happiness of all.. or for future life... besides nalang ha kung gikan mo sa may kaya na family... when your planning to settle down na..mo raise na ang financial matters... ang imong sweldo sa atong gobyerno dili enough maka buhi og pamilya labi na og naa moy bata... bisan pa kamo duha mo work its not enough.. even if nag salary mog tag 30k per month...

at that point need mo sacrifice.. nobody else here will go to abroad just for the sake that they like staying der... "ders no place lyk home" ni abroad tawn mi kay wala na choice pa nahibilin...

lahi ra jud ang kuyog nimo ang imong kapikas sa kinabuhi... everyday is special..exciting... mixed with happiness and sadness... but lisod pud og unahon lang nako akong kalipay then on the other hand ill watch my family nga nagkalisod....

Most of LDR relationship will not work because naka set na sa ilang mindset na "it won't work" hadlok sila sa mga circumstances... ila gi anticipate daan ang negative outlook...

The best key of any relationship is "Prayer" bisan og kuyog pa mo pirmi sa imong pikas sa kinabuhi then you miss the very most important things or obligation in life... for sure your relationship won't last...

kung wa moy salig sa inyo partner and you love to dwell on what happened sa past, let go of your partner nalang... bisan unsa pa ka dako ana imong love kung wa kay pagsalig nya sige kag balik2x sa past, di ra japon mowork out.. ang ending: you'll both end up hurting each other...
