huh.. what you mean by religion taking over? the article didnt even said that the Vatican will control or take over this establishment.. the article mention "supranational authority" meaning consensual to nations or international groups eg ASEAN, EU, UN etc. that is Vatican and the other nations.. 1vote ra gihapon ang Vatican like any other nations in any issues. Vatican even said ...
Such an authority should start with the United Nations as its reference point but later become independent and be endowed with the power to see to it that developed countries were not allowed to wield "excessive power over the weaker countries."
In my opinion, kaning g.propose sa Vatican to have a Central World Bank kai na-a pagka.communista. Hehehehe.
nice. world wide domination dayon next.
after pila ka years basin ug one world government na dayon ni..

IMHO lang ...
the Roman Catholic Church has always dreamed of world domination. Sukad pa time of the Crusades (kadto gisaad ni Pope Urban II nga molahos kas langit, without passing through purgatory, ug makapatay ka ug daghan Muslim...)
Rome's involvement in the financial market was also felt when they took control of much of the Nazi war lootings when the Allies route the Axis in WWII (Adolf Hitler was, by the way, a devout Catholic)
the new proposal might be viewed with suspicion by the Jews ... heheheheh
Nothing headed by a religion will ever be global. There are too many people who are not Catholics.
pra dako2x ug kwarta....
