The modem you have is ZyXEL from PLDT?

Bro May I know what is the IP address that your getting from the modem when u directly connected to it?? is it private IP or public IP?? or anyway can you post the IP here..

As far as I know, most of the DSL ISP provides Modem/Router.. if ur ISP set the modem to full-bridge mode then you should have a username and password given by your ISP for the authentication of the connection. If your modem is set to Automatic Configuration - DHCP (Half-bridge mode) then there is no need for username and password for authentication and normally you will be getting a private IP from the modem. ISP will use the MAC address of your computer authenticate the connection.

PLDT will only allow 1 computer to gain internet access. thats why you should get a router for multiple computers to gain internet access..

your setup is Modem/Router - Switch - multiple computers
still with this setup only 1 computer will be able to get internet access because the switch is not a DHCP device and your modem/router will only provide one IP as set by your ISP

since you have a wireless router then why don't you setup the network like this

Modem - wireless router - switch - multiple computers and this fix your problem

I Just tried the same setup with yours

Modem/Router - switch - 4 computers
2 computers is able to get online but its sharing the internet (kung ang isa kay ga youtube ang isa ka computer kay hinay kaau internet) sharing the internet connection. the other 2 computers unable to get online at all..

Anyway my setup here at home is Modem/Router (ZyXEL from PLDT) - Wireless Router - 8 port switch - 3 wired computers and multiple wireless device (laptops, wifi phones) and no problem with the internet connection at all.

you mentioned above the IP which is 112.202.X.X

is that the IP from the modem?? in that case your getting a public IP address..

Fix your problem with this setup then..

the things i did are the ff:

- g.reset nko ang modem/router sa pldt

- g.direct nko from modem/router to one PC and i was able to established a connection

- g.plug nko ang cable from modem/router to port 1 sa switch dn a cable from port 2 of switch to one PC and i got a connection, but when i plug a cable from port 3 of the switch to another PC i cannot established a connection meaning mo gana ra ang net to a single PC alone pero once e.share na nimo to another PC limited or no connectivity ang error.

-g.try nko ug clone ang MAC address sa PC nga naay connection to the rest of the units mo status connected xa pero di ka sulod.. .

-g.ilis.ilis na nko lain nga mga cable pero wa japun.. .

- g.reformat na nko ang duha ka PC bacin virus pero wa japun..

-g.try na nko ug set ug static IP status connected xa pero di ka open ug page.. .
IP-112.202.. .
subnet- 255.255.128.0

gud PM update lang ko ni.. .g.reformat nlang nko kay murag mao ray last resort jud para ma solve & good thing kay na ok ra pero 5 units pa naay net kay wa ko kahuman reformat ganiha.. .i wanna thank pud diay ni bro networkguy for his help while nag troubleshoot ko...tanx kau bro kalma ra kau ka da networkguy jud diay ka da..hehe..i'll recommend u bro to who ever needs a help regarding networking tanx once again.. .

Parehas mi ni raztyguy ug setup. It's rockin' since everlasting, hehehe but naturally there are times naa jud problem like naputol ang linya sa PLDT etc.

I have same problem with the TS. Several days naku gi troubleshoot ang NIC naku nga built-in at the end hopeless kay wala dyud ma solve ang Limited Connectivity. So solution buy new PCI LAN Card for past few months ok pa sya but karon ni balik ang sakit na sad nga Limited Connectivity sa ako PCI LAN Card.

As i observed sa duha ka scenario is ni sugod lang ug problem when I encounter kalit ug brown out. Guys PM me lang if naa mo ideas kay na hurot na naku ug seach sa google tanan possible solution pero wala dyud.

Naa ko gi try karon nga command hope ma ok ni ugma kay dili naku off ako PC..
