well for me sata has a diskette or something like that driver but mostly karon sa motherboards kay auto detect na siya sa sata hard drive nimo....and try nalang western digital they got the best quality today than other hard drives today ...![]()
nindot ang sata, pero since bag-o pa na technology, daghan pa glitches...
im using a seagate 80g sata...hassle kaayo..mag add pka sata driver thru floppy disk wen installing winxp..wat if hugaw ang fdd?watif naguba imu disket?waaaa!...i hope ma slipstream na nila ang drivers sa winxp installer esp silicon integrated sata controlllers..
what i know is..you can install sata drivers from win xp installation disk without using a FDD.
^^what controller is embedded in winXP? That I have to hear... There's a big difference in perf. w/ sata vs ide. I thot b4 its not much of a diff.. but surprised of the speed gain.Like ...installing winXP in less than 15mins. It also took me just 20mins to format a 73 gig(2 drives in raid0 conifg). Winxp loading bar also runs around twice till i get inside windows. Its not that hard to setup raid, the floppy thing you will do once (what's with it?
)..Will never go back to IDE..
