    there is always risk.
stock traders/investors have negative days but since they know what they are doing by then end of the week/month/year positive jud ila investment.
So technically, long term and winning investors consider it risk free.

It's the newbies that dont have the patience or those who think it's gambling who will lose a lot in stocks.

And btw, the IMG mindset focuses on Mutual funds only.
IMG prefers recommending MF over stocks kay mas sayon jud para sa mga investors. Pasabton lang jud sila sa minimal risks involved.

But sa among team, maka assist mi sa mga interested mo invest directly sa stocks kay naay makamentor.
But we advise them to master the basics of mutual funds first then they can try stocks with guidance.

unsa ka mubo ang lowest holding period?
naay mutual funds nga ang holding period is 6 months but 1% ra ang exit fee if within the holding period. But after 6 months it's 0.

Ask lang unta ko ngano mas recommended ang basic knowledge in MF investing prior to stocks? Unsay importante sa MF na makat-onan before investing sa stocks?

Nagbasa-basa man gud ko sa stocks karon with less knowledge inclination sa MF, kay I'm aiming stocks man gud.

actually mura rajud na ug training phase ang mutual funds before mag stocks.

pasabton sa ug maayo sa basic concepts like cost averaging, what to do when the market is up or down, and paper loss.

Once they get it, then they can try stocks and we can guide them as well.

sakto si Metz sa iyang gipanulti @paytera. Mao na ako gibuhat nga MF una ko para ma comfortable ko sa investing. Ok ra man pud na nag start ka sa UITF. Be updated lang jud sa mga news about financial, research about it and so on until murag apil na na sa imong daily life ang investing then mo gain na ka ug confidence. Kadugayan d ka kabantay mosulod na ka ug stock trading/investing.

As for me, I prefer UITFs than mutual funds. Although it's less transparent where they invest because they usually just have the monthly performance of their funds, they usually have higher yields than mutual funds.

In addition, UITFs are more accessible. Just compare branches of banks as to the branches of mutual fund companies. Personally, I like BPI most especially their Odyssey Funds. BPI is the only bank so far that enables you to invest in UITF online by just a click of a mouse. Once you set up a settlement agreement with your UITF, then you can off to invest online through BPI Express Online.
