    needed gyud ang UV light.

a UV-A/UV-B light designed for reptiles and a basking lamp are necessary fixtures you need to have in your BDs enclosure. The UV is needed so they can produce vitD3 for proper calcium absorption. The basking lamp is needed so their digestive system will work properly in digesting food.

you can also have your BD bask in the morning sun for 30mins to an hour daily, but that is not enough if wala kay UV light sa imong enclosure. they need to have the UV light and basking lamp for heat for 12 hours daily. the enclosure also should be big enough for proper thermo regulation...you have the basking lamp on one end (hot end)...then, your BD will have the cooler end for cooling down.

remember, these are desert lizards that bask under the desert sun so the above-mentioned processes sa ilang body will be achieved. otherwise, they will fail in captivity and succumb to illnesses and die.

check lang sa For Sale thread bro if naay avaialble. Mga manila sellers ang usually naa pay stocks. The cheapest you can get for a hatchling is around P3.5K to P4.5K for the basic morphs. For the high end morphs, expect to shell out around P9K to P15K and UP for a hatchling or juvenile.
