Dugay na ni option for solar power
    pero another problems looms
These is so easily vandalized and humot kaayo na sa mga kawatan ang solar panel---so lightweight and easy to carry and so easy to market esp the w/ the rising cost of electricity

Plus... things like these needed proper maintenance to function well up to maximum mileage of use (do I need to mention na unsa na ang controversial lamppost? check it for yourselves)

fait kaayo ang cycle noh? daghan kawat kay ngitngit...if naa hayag or lighting mao pud ang kawaton

the city uses mercury lamps. do you think kaya sa battry ang ingon ani nga mga suga? hiways? or kanang naa sa ciudad where big trees and higher buildings would potentially cover the solar panels view from the sun.

bitaw. this is not really practical on big cities. but maybe parks then. good for walking people not on roads

Nope. Wala bisan usa. "Fire and Forget" man gud ang uso diri sa ato sa pinas. Politicians will be on fire for their wrong doings and 2 or 3 months later, people will just forget it happened.
