Unfortunately there are some factors why this wont happen all the time

    1. Call center agents na mu work ug christmas eve
    2. Mga workers sa mall where their family is on the other Island ( Di na sila kaabot on time for christmas nya mutrabaho nasad sila balik eg christmas)
    3. Security guards ( Thank you for leaving your family for the sake of protecting us)
    4. Police ( Thank you also for protecting us)
    5. Nurses and Doctors ( To take care of the wounded people during that time)
    6. Airport personnel (For taking flights even if pasko na)
    7 Many more

You can't blame them if they can't be together with their family. Consider yourself lucky

has it occured to you they're ASKING asa sila on christmas eve or, most probably their idea of choice?
and I was in response to the thought where they have to figure out where or how should it be spent. or that, as far as my best comprehension of the TS question is concerned.

So this exclude those who has a fixed venue on that date of event. So it's pointless to include them
with the idea kung asa sila..otherwise the TS would have said "asa ka gusto or you wish to be karon christmas even?"

    My bottomline is:
those who doesnt have any tied appointments whether work, duties or responsibilities,
priority should be family and its no question. and taas ka kaayo kung mu-ingon paka "wat if layo ka, abroad ka?"

and I'm just reading in between lines nga the TS most probably meant where is it best to celebrate---meaning he/she has no prior commitments!!!!

and it's not a matter of blaming esp pointed at those which is excluded with the notion

but then again its a matter of comprehension...which I dont blame you also
