ayaw road widening kay scarce ang atong land resources..maau pa kung fly over...pero mas maau kung dli nlng,manlupad nmnsd ang mga sakyanan krn taod-taod..hahaha

a Thought experiment...
if you widen the road today.. traffic is minimized today..
because traffic is minimized, more people will buy cars again faster than goverment can cope..
and because more people has cars, traffic will be back again in a few months time.. and then you widen the road again.
still the same with flyovers..
i hope we can learn from manila..
if you still remember when edsa was still 2 lanes, they widen it to 4 lanes, then they widen it to 6 lanes, then they put and MRT dat is not very efficent.., and if you see now traffic is still there.. and getting worse.. and the same with NLEX and SLEX,
putting layers and layers of road will not work... cause people will buy more cars..
and now you end up making your city for cars... or making your city "car friendly" not "people friendly"..
the thing to stop traffic is that. we need to stop people from buying cars for commuting to work, i mean in a way, that we must develop a "Rigid Citywide Public Transport System" that traverse through the city so that people will only use their car if they will go to the country side and not use them when they are in the city..
thus "minimizing the cars on the road" whyl making the road efficient... "so traffic is gone without the need for widening"
an example for a Citywide BRT system, a BRT bus can carry 50 people with less space than 25 cars with 50 people in it.. saving a lot of road space.
wat a piece of advice gud bai..let me enumerate nimo kung knsa imo ma-kontra ana:
1. mga taw-dli ka makabo-ot nila kung pila nga awto ila paliton ug asa ra sila pwde makabyahe sa ilang sakyanan
2. negosyante-malugi sd tawn na sila kung wla mamalit
3. ako- inconvenient na pra nko,labi na kung magdali,kung mosakay ko'g jeep,hunong2 gyud na

agree ko ana PUJ reduction approach (one franchise per route, fixed wages for drivers), it will reduce the number of PUJs sa city. Pero naa gihapon nay complains like mga drivers mawagtang kunog trabaho ... bisan good for the city na ang move, naa gihapon reklamo.

dpat wagtagon n mga tricycles, pedicabs.. 1/2 ni cla in times mu travel ka like dapit sa market places.... kng dli himoan kaugalingon routes or terminal..
