it's disappointing knowing the once I called a lost paradise is getting damage. And soon be destroyed were there is a big difference from what I saw last 1996, 1999, 2000 and this year 2011.

The sanctuary its close to dying corals because of swimmers who are careless in snorkeling. Some individuals even get TACUBO and other shells which is prohibited.

I agree with you fully. Very sad. Money over the environment. In the end, we all lose.

Roseleo guerrero.. nya k ampingan jud ni nya kaau sauna.. nga dli ni cya ma disturb nga place... ive been here as early as im 3 years old pako.. that was 1990 then.. grabe jud ni ka nindot dri. tanan isda naa ra jud sa daplin.. and ang corals grabe ka dako... dagko pa sa mga queen size bed.... then time has change.. so as the person who are managing this island.. maybe income is more important to them than to preserve this island.. wala tay mabuhat.. but enjoy while it last..

Ad2 jud ka sa Bato, Leyte or Hilongos, Leyte musakay ang barko.. tapad raman na cla na mga tao.. from south Matalom Bato Hilongos.. if gahanan ka mas doul2x. agi sa via Bato Leyte.. 2 ang barko dra trip daily. Medalion shipping ug FIJI/South pacific.. average ug ug 200-300 ang plete sa mga barko dri depende sa imo accomodation.. ug via hilongos ka.. pwede ka musakay ug ROBLE shipping lines ug gabisan shippings. 200-350 pud ang range sa fare dri... mas nindot noon n cya na barko dri. DAY trip is roble shipping line 1pm.. cebu to hilongos.. then after that sakay ka ug multicab para matalom, leyte.. fare is 20 pesos...nya ask lang if pahunong ka sa Nonok.. or ingna lang kung asa ka makasakay para canigao... as of now wala ka kbalo sa rate if mo stay ka sa island.. much better if sa town lang ka mo stay and ad2 lang ka sa canigao during daytime.. coz limited paman ang resources did2.
