Another issue raised by someone i know... What about those fly by night sellers na mukalit lang ug tungha selling very cheap tarantulas then mawala lang sad dayon? I also noticed this in the buy and sell section. How can they be regulated.

I believe some of the sellers are also selling outside cebu. Dili man sad ingun na taas na ang presyo dili nana ka palit ang irresponsible keepers pero it will minimize or filter out. Depende nasad na sa sellers unsa ila pakulo. In my case sa breeding and selling kung dili mahalin ako raman i keep until madagko and ma *** na. Mas attractive naman kung bigger na ang specimens.

Agree. Nindot jud ang inverts kung adult size na. Ang katong nagpataka lang ug palit kay mamatyan ug T's, mamatyan man gani ning mga serious keeper sila pa kaha.

Sa mga uban kahang breeder specially T's. Dili baya communal kasagaran, nahitabo kaha nga naay walay nangahalin unya ila na lang gi keep until nag mature let say 50 pcs or more or mahurot jud ilang stocks? How did they go about his scenario, specially those type nga nagbreed for the sole purpose of selling?

Naa pud nag pm nako nag libog pud sila kai seller 1 is selling a specimen at 700 each 1 inch size then this seller is selling the same specimen at 550 since 1.5cm to 2cm pa iya specimens. Then gi consider man ni seller 1 as diving of price? Unsa may approach ane sa price regulation? How an we resolve this issue?

Australis kay super barato na didto kay 500php naman lang but para nako 2i sa AA dapat 800php pataas gyud kung Cebu ibaligya.. bali pud sa AB kay barato dri then mahal sa manila... as a rule naa man mga specimens na matintal ang uban ug paubos pro himuon lang nato ug ang guide Manila price ( Known Sellers) nalang gyud or more para naa Standard pricing...anywhere ubos ana isig badlongay nalang ta... para raman sad ni nato tanan at least if makabreed ta pohun dako ta pangpalit ug bag.o na specimens....

yup overstock bai... suma pa sa akong supplier sa Manila sauna " wag bumili lang marami kasi mura at ipapasa ng mura jn sa Cebu...panindigan mo ng pakain yan JODECS ha" meaning ani bai sala sa seller why mukuha cya ug daghan nya ibaligya nya ug barato... pro if daghan kuhaon mas barato gyud hinuon pro dli na rason na ibaligya dri na 50-100php ra ang genancya... lisud ang selling bai... pro if ihold nmo ang specimens then modako na sila 3x-5x ang genancya ana... sauna newbie seller sad ko mglabad akong ulo kung dli mahalin akong mga baligya pro dli man diay to mao... much beter naa gyud patience coz eventually mahalin ra gyud ang mga gbaligya...

nice ni sya na thread para sa questions sa trading of inverts..cge lng ko basa sa tanang posts...from the price war until here...daghan kaayo ta mahibaw-an na ideas and insights from fellow hobbyists..

im also glad na ni kalma na ang price war..i hope this thread will serve as a comfort zone sa tanang hobbyists.

pwede mu sambit gamay?....some wud say price is not the issue?..some wud say it is ..seeing and upholding the value of the hobby...sa ako nakita lisod jud coz everybody got their point and di na basta2x ra nato mausab ilang gituuhan..

sa ako ra ni noh..kay di man ko regular seller although naka suway nako out sa ako mga collections..as a collector of inverts, dako kaayo ni ang value sa akoa..wether mahal or barato ako kuha basta maka collect ko ani na specie...mao na ako pag tanaw ani na hobby..

ni sud ko ani a hobby para malingaw, and ma challenge...bahala na mahal ang inverts that time nag sugod ko..nagkabuang ko sa budget ug tigom to the max para lng maka kuha ko sa ako gusto..

so...ali! sud muu ani na hobby para malingaw...everybody wants to be called a real hobbyist..its just a matter knowing wat kind of hobbyist u wud like to be...

if seller ka, "knw ur purpose ngano ni baligya ka"......kng buyer ka, (both starters and experienced).."know ur purpose ngano ni palit ka or ngano ganahan ka mu sugod ani...

a group in manila made a move to legalize tarantulas but DENR's primary requirement to get animals registered is tagging or microchips. that will not be possible for tarantulas and scorpions since this species will molt and may not survive a microchip injection.

As to your opinion about a group spear heading a governing body, we tried this before when the group was starting. It was not even about the price but about sa pag dili pataka ug baligya.

Sadly some people think "hilas", walay right na mag inana ang groupo. Naa gani uban nga nag ingun na wala daw me katungod mag tukod ug grupo kai newbie pa daw me. Crab mentality kaayo ang mga taw.
That is why our group has not involved itself in the trading of inverts. We chose to purely concentrate on the keeping aspect of the hobby.

well, thats just sad bro. we are just trying to be responsible pero some think its hilas. i wish i know those people who said that para ipang hapak nako sa ila nawng ang ka "hilas" nila. ngano newbies have no right to be responsible? if someone would be willing to try it again, maybe it would work this time. i mean, if dogs and cats can be registered as pets i dont see a reason why some species/pets cant be.

im not sure but groups in the states dont use microchips also to track t's and other inverts. they have a system on how to do it effectively. some members are even professionals(doctors, lawyers etc) who are heading the group. but i guess it would be a longshot here sa pinas coz most people in not all are busy with their dayjob. pero ana man jud na. if we want change for the betterment or progress naa jud na resistance. especially a movement like this na it would change the inverts community. just like sa pcci, when they started impossible kaayo na makuha nila ug pa register ang dogs especially in other regions kay naa man jud mentality ang tawo nga "discrimination" from other regions. pero karon layo na kaayo sila naabtan and the value of dogs hasnt gone down jud. di ba a registered dog is more sought after then non registered dogs.

im not sure but groups in the states dont use microchips also to track t's and other inverts. they have a system on how to do it effectively. some members are even professionals(doctors, lawyers etc) who are heading the group. but i guess it would be a longshot here sa pinas coz most people in not all are busy with their dayjob.

lagi sir..nindot unta kng ingana rata pareho sa states... sadly nope...our group had tried na inquiries sa legalization sa hobby..and tanan na living species basta magpa legal na mu agi jud sa DENR...and thats their way of making our hobby a legal one...register it individually and putting some microchips...which is a big no sa inverts..
