I'm not trying to be callous, and I pray the poor little baby is with God, but this is exactly the reason why people in the olden days say the world was much, much better back then -- because they knew less.
Now we see this and we say to ourselves "What has the world become??". Pero what we do not know is that shit like this was probably happening in those time, too, only that there were no mass media (TV and Internet) to bring this gruesome tragedy to more audience.
My point is that while it's good to 'make people more aware' about what is happening all around us, we also need to consider the psychological trauma some people will experience by just looking at these brutal pictures. Believe it or not, these photos can bring a feeling or despair and depression to some people, and would quite possibly result in destructive or suicidal behavior.
No offense to you, doc. It's just my $0.2 take on this thread.

Thread locked. The message is clear. We don't have to keep reminding ourselves about what has happened, by looking at these pictures. What we need to do is change, improve and move forward. Guide the younger ones and be an example.
