Have you seen Mr. Tallo "manga-saba" in person? I have once and even though I was far it was fairly loud and I think the kid did not do a terrible job, but I know people who were on a couple of his teams. He embarrasses 12-16 year olds, swears at them, and has pushed several of them (my brother was on an opposing team when Mr. Tallo raised his hand as if to slap the player during a timeout, but "graciously" held back).

There are other ways to train KIDS without demeaning them.

That being said he is probably one of the best trainers in Cebu at this time. I don't know if that is a testament to his ability or the lack thereof around Cebu.

i have heard a lot of comments about the coaching style sa iya papa and most of them are bad ones... daghan gi sayangan kay if tallo was trained with discipline and not with fear i think mas mo lambo siya, he needs to enjoy the game as well in order to improve... i watched some of tallo's game and naka nga2 ko sa ka kuyaw mo dala sa bola, AI na AI jud mo lihok tinag 3 pa mo bantay... ang maka pa improve ni tallo so far would be discipline(more patience), respect sa iya self and to enjoy the game like its not a competition but something to help him be on top (MORE MORE MORE EXPOSURE)...

yup, unfortunately, Kiefer's age was an issue sa iya NCAA dream, he was too young daw. kay ang didto sa gawas usually mugraduate high school at 18 or 19 so medyo physical na moduwa kay ni mature na ang lawas pod. Pero im crossing my fingers for Kiefer.
