there was a report on this years back, around 2008..i think the phenomenon is called subsidence, due to over pumping of ground water for daily needs and the lack of recharging of the aquifiers... don't mock the TS for there is merit that Manila is sinking... Have you heard of Venice? That city was never built on water, the city simply sunk slowly due to subsidence... Manila is a low coastal area therefore the effect of subsidence is easily felt...
