yes there could be a lot ways on flirting but the mere fact that you are flirting with another guy while you are in a relationship just goes to say that you are not really in love with your bf, period.

Flirting is not an involuntary act you know,
you flirt simply because you want to catch attention
you want to catch attention because you were not given enough
now
flirting is fun especially if you really like the guy
but
it's never an effective way of making someone fall in love with you
oh common, who would not want to be loved?
some people may find it attractive for those who flirt them but in the end, they will never choose those who flirted with them
instead they choose those who are so hard to get lol
