try pressing "CAPSLOCK" in you keyboard and check if the light toggles ON and OFF. If not, restart your computer and wait for a beeping sound from your CPU. If there is a beeping sound, try removing the RAM and insert it back, try a couple of times until the beeping sound is gone. Try also with the video card installed in the computer, it might be the video card that has problems...

nalimot ka ug state sir if ang imo monitor CRT ba or flatscreen pero assuming ko nga flat na imo monitor, lets say samsung nga EX2020 or SA300 naka standby mode na xa sir wala na xa naka sleep kay imo raman kaha gibiyaan, ang computer dili na xa mo sleep not unless imo gipa ka tulog, lahi ang term sa sleep ug standbymode sir kung mo ingon ka ug sleep other term hibernate kinahanglan pana nimo pisliton didto sa start menu where ang standbymode lahi kay kana xa automatic na cya mapalong ang monitor pero ga-andar gihapona ang system unit, careful dapat ta sa mga term kay usahay dre ta masayop...now regarding the sa imo question e-press lang na xa ang button located sa buttom part sa monitor tupad sa power button naa na xa identification kanang duha ka murag window....from rigt first is power button then AUTO then kanang next ana maoy e-press mubalik rana xa ug ON ang imo monitor..
