How long did it take for you to upgrade?

For me it took me consecutively about a year to upgrade bodies. I started from D40 after a year upgraded D80 next to D300 and last year upgraded to a D700. What I usually do is when a new body comes out I usually wait until a year to upgrade. So far the only body left is the D3s which I be will skipping since the D700 is far enough for me. I'm still completing my Lens lineup and all is left is a 70-200mmVRII.

Another thing for me as much possible I try to get some side gigs para ipuno sa kong "Hobby Fund". Lets admit that gears are expensive and most likely bodies will depreciate 1/3th or 1/4th of the cost in a year depende sa brand and frequency of new models releases. So might as well try to think of a way to get a ROI on your gears. Mao na sideline ginagmay ug tigum ginagmay para palit gear ginagmay...hahaha
