A morning person here. Early bird catches worm late bird catches none. Anyhow, i'm just used to it. I find that my energy is zapped towards the end of the day and I accomplish more things when i get started early in the morning.

Seriously though, perhaps the Early bird catches more worms than the late bird
Anyway in regards to this post, I believe I am neither...
I don't know why. It's just that I enjoy sunrises and when I have time, I love to prepare and cook a big breakfast with all the works (eggs, waffles, fresh juice, bacon, ham, scones)...
Yet..
I also relish sunsets, midnight snacks and somehow my productivity as a writer increases as the hours grow so late and become early

Diem, sounds normal for a writer such as you to have that clarity of thought in the late night or wee hours of the morning and I am not sure about why that is except to say that i also have a friend who loves to write and tells me same thing you did. I think literally saying early bird catches more worm depends on what early also means. That early could be sometime in the middle of the day, late at night and i guess it just depends on a person's body clock.
Surely, its always nice to watch and feel the sunset and sunrise over sunny side up eggs and anything your heart, mind and stomach desires. It gives you a fresher perspective and also it is invigorating to say the least and you'll have more thoughts on paper
All i can say, do the things you love to do during those peak times for you either morning or nite
