Actually, the changes in prospectus just reflects the growing range of knowledge that CompE graduates should have. Let's say for example, during the late 90's until earlier part of 2000, we saw the shifting of trend in technology, from microprocessors (Z80, Intel 8086 or Motorola 6802) to microcontrollers (PIC, Freescale. et. al). With this shift, curriculum should follow through. With the advent development of robots, embedded systems, different kind of networking media, CompE studes need to adapt, thus, the specialization.

Correct dyud ka bai sa amo batch kay 8086 pato gi gamit namo as i remember meaning old na dyud ko.. naa gi introduce sa amo pag 5th year katong PIC pero wala me mo dayon kay naka set na among design sa 8086 nga processor. Lisud pa pangita-on atong time nga Clock Gen pero naka survived sad graduate dyud. Maayo karon kay naa pilian nga specialization.

Some of my batch mate ni landing sa Programming Networking Web Designing ug Instructor. Daghan man ma pilian bya..

Pwerte gud ka hasol pangitaon ang clock generator sa 8086/8088 nga microprocessor sa una. Nahurot na'g utingkay tanan guba nga motherboard sa 5J's.

Anyway, nag PIC mi pag fifth year, tungod sa kalisod mangita og clock gen.

then take civil as second course. if you are the project manager you could make $5M a year.
    Hmmm... even CEO's won't make $5M a year:
