$1M is too small compare to the help before and future investment from Japan. Can we just stop being a loser and help each other?

sacrifice a little to get bigger rewards later. If gamiton ta na ang money to put up schools or unsa pa na ang gisuggest sa uban, diha ra ta kutob (wala pa labot ang kurakot). kaning ato gitabang sa Japan, mo multiply pa ni. Dili lang klasrom ma tukod kundi pati na dalan, other infrastructures, jobs, etc. Kung mo ingon ta nga sayang ang kwarta nga gi donate, taphaw ra kaayo tag panghuna huna.
its better to give than to recieve... wen mani nga statement na ngil-ad ba? unless kung boxer ka ky kuntra jud ka ani. do u only help someone who is poor? filipino culture is really like this... so y do u ask about it? when u have a rich visitor coming in to your house, don't u provide them the best foods and drinks you have? in fact, japan also helped us not just in monetary but in other ways too like providing us many jobs and opportunities like the ship building industry, different opportunities there in MEPZ, some in IT's and the big company there in danao and still many others. don't they deserve our help too? $1M is a big amount for an individual but not for a country. $1M is just enough and what's important there is we still do care and share what we can give to our neighbors. so don't be too self-centered and selfish. i guess ang mga tao nga cge reklamo mao na cge pangayo sa onsa mahatag sa gobyerno nila. as what JFK quotes, "ASK NOT WHAT THE COUNTRY CAN DO FOR YOU, BUT WHAT YOU CAN DO FOR THE COUNTRY". i believe majority of our population is ASKING WHAT THE GOVERNMENT CAN DO FOR THEM. thats why we never be a progressive country because we are thinking like this.
Ok ra na kay iya man nang kwarta, dili man na taxpayer's money.
1 million USD? That's his own money, right? Oh wait... please don't tell me it's taxpayer money?!![]()
Wait.. I think it's taxpayers money.. Can't find any info if the money is his or taxpayers' money. Pero mas maayo nalang na nga naay padulngan ang kwarta kaysa ato ra ma punta sa bulsa sa mga politico.

i think it was an investment. there's nothing wrong with than man. although daghan ang dili mouyon tungod kay nglisod na gani ta. manghatag pa jud. but for me, it's an investment. definitely, japan will never forget what we did despite our poverty, we were still able to share for them during these times of pain.
