a friend of mine is having plan888 pero iya speed is about 1.2MBps.... hmmm. ngano kaha?

It depends how you are connected (via RAN or straight to the exchange) and also what modem you you use.
I for example have been connected a year to a RAN here, which gave me just 1.8-2.2MBit. I let them change this by connecting straight to mandaue exchange and get now 4.9MBit. I also have 2 PLDT DSL modems, one is alcatel with integrated 4-port router, the other a bigger older one also with 4 port router integrated. The bigger older one give me the 4.9MBit, the alcatel stops at 3.53MBit.

I pay 4000 plus vat, its a business dsl subscription, because I needed a static IP for my server. Location is Maria Luisa Park in Banilad.

PLDT is good.. but a lot of hassles... usually dili stable ang ilang connection coz there might be unexpected problems or errors na dili madala... mao mayabag jud

is there something wrong with pldt nsad now??

naa ko internet connection but dili ko ka check/send email sa outlook. even sa kadtong ilang online mailbox sa mypad dili sad ko ka sulod. ahaka ani nila uy.

putol-putol na man sad ila connection oi...karon pa ko ka connect sugod ganina buntag...kagahapon sad pwerting hinaya sa connection...dool mabolo area ang amo

anybody can suggest something? dsl o mbroadband? kana data plan $999 388kbps dsl, wala diay labot phone line? dili ba pwede data connection ako kuhaon wdawt the phoneline?helppp...
