things to buy:

for PISO2x, you'll need:
Timer circuit
Coin slot
power supply, pwede ra kanang mga adaptor as long as 12v 500mA ok na..
Stuffs you wanna turn off, i.e. monitor.

There's a relay sa timer circuit.. mao ni ang SWITCH..
mao ni ang mo-tingog inig on nimo sa counter..

for basic electronic tools:
Bench Power Supply, must be varying.. (very useful for a electronic hobbyist)
Solder sucker
Solder lead, a lot of it for practice
Solder stand
wire stripper
cutter
pair of scissors
glue gun
some screw drivers
Multimeter, better go digital para makabasa pud ka sa amperes
BREADBOARD if you'll go with embedded na.
but as early as possible, ok ra..

dapat kahibaw pud ka sa Parallel/Serial configuration sa mga circuit.
Apply Voltmeter through parallel only
Apply Ammeter through Series only.

you'll need to know some ICs as well,
learn Logic Circuits, the Gates.. AND, OR, NAND, NOR, etc.
next, interfacing using C.
before sa, Microcontrollers.
learn first binary or hex, C language and Assembly Language.

for PISO2x, maka-buy ka sa AC/DC, Advance or any electronic stores.

tools, usually sa hardware.. not necessarily naa ka ana tanan.. coz you might never know which one you'll need..

kanang mga tools' list akong gibutang, based na sa akong tools naa karon.. hehehe..

but most important lang jud kay multimeter, power supply (varying), soldering tools, mask pa d.i and exhaust fan kung mag solder ka.. kay lisud nang ma-high ka sa LEAD..

Good day mga members, May project ako na coin slot application, some how i managed to get a free code from the net to interpret Logic of serial port to Visual basic 2010. but the code i got was not specifically for this use, instead it just reads the logic state of the serial and shows significant change visually. can anyone help me customize this code add up with timer and user32 disabling to make it work for coin slot applications? by the way i tested the code it works well. thanks!
