Skycable 6MBPs problems

I switched to Skycable 6MBPs in hopes of better internet speeds.
During speedtest, it is fast in theory but in actual usage of certain applications like torrents, games, and some streaming sites the speed dips.

When playing World of Tanks for example, the ping is ok at >200 ms but the connection keeps dropping (there's an indicator at the upper left that flashes green (ok) or red (poor connection)). This happens every few seconds.

Who has experienced this and, more importantly, how did you solve it?

I hear that some internet protocols are intentionally limited by Skycable like FTP and P2P. Can anyone confirm this?

Note:
I have no problem using the 3MBPs line.

did some ping test off Pingtest.net - The Global Broadband Quality Test
Here are some of my results:

I also did some downloading tests. I downloaded a 700mb movie from megaupload and i was getting around 140 kb/s download with some fluctuation.

Then i downloaded drivers from AMD then from Nvidia (around 130mb each) and i was downloading at 600 kb/s constant. I downloaded each file in around 4 mins.

diba kani nga plan kay naay consumption limit per month?
basin gi cap na nila daan ang common sites nga kusog mosuyop aron ma minimize ang chance nga 1st week palang wala nakay internet hehe.

Static IP gi assign sa imo bro or Dynamic? try lng gamit og Universal DNS bro..
