before, i was always asking for good health and happy always akong family but a close friend of mine told me that instead of praying TO ASK, pray TO THANK Him. So from that day forward, I never asked God anything. I only THANK Him for what He has given me coz I came to realize that He knows already what our heart desires so there's no need to keep on asking Him those. At the end of the day, you'll be surprised that He has given you something na wala nimo gi-ask, and then you thank Him.
