before i get mine, im also worried about this, then it struck me the reason why i want to get into this hobby... from them im not bothered if mahurot ang shutter cycle niya (sakto ba ang spelling?), i just enjoy lang... unya i try not to be trigger happy...

1. Y man mahurot ang shutter sa dslr ?



In the picture above, you can see part of the shutter mechanism of a typical DSLR. The motor makes
the mirror to flip when you release the shutter button when taking pictures. There is also a spring at
the back of the mirror that keeps the glass in place when your not taking photos.

The motor and spring are mechanical parts of the DSLR and they deteriorate over time. Duna lang
jud time na mu.conk ang motor and the spring is not strong enough to keep the mirror as it should be.

Usually, it's the sensor that falters first. I think walai mechanical shutter mechanism ang point and
shoot.

3. What if mahurot na ang shutter sa dslr, unsa ato buhaton? Naa mo repair ani?? Pila sad kaha etimate bayad ani??

Either have it repaired or buy a new one.

My 300D surrendered after 3 yrs... nahibong lng ko na ig pictyur nko black nlng ang makita sa LCD.. so ako gi dala sa Canon.. Gi ilisan nila og shutterbox.. ako nabayran murag 4k-4.5k dala labor.. pag 2009 nahitabo... mura mas mahal na cya ron hantud karon buhi pa gihapon akong 300D.. wala pa pud nko ma ilisan balik og shutterbox ky panagsa nlng pd magamit

When mag buy ka ug DSLR bro..Just think na you need to enjoy sa imo camera...No such thing will last specially Electronics.. Same as Laptop, 3-4 years ra lifetime.

I bought my Dslr last may, I check the shutter count lastnight....NIabut na 10k? can't believe it..Hehehe..
