road widening jud dapat parehas sa manila very wide ang road nila ug daghan ug lanes...

1) Road Widening
2) Bus Transit and MRT
3) Jobs for the trycicle and jeepney drivers (who will lost their jobs because of the Bus Transit and MRT)
pwedi drainage lang unahon kay taligsik gamay baha dayon sa oldest street ug oldest barangay sa nasud?
this only shows that cebuanos are no longer want another flyover to be built. it doesnt really helps decongest the traffic in metro cebu.. forward CEBU!
kung intersection lang atong hisgutan, flyover ang best solution ana. way traffic scheme nga makapa flowing sa traffic sa intersection kung walay flyover. unless magbuhat na sad ug mga u-turn slots but still ma bara gihapon kung asa dapit naay crossing.
the most effective is flyover + road widening. pero dili man attainable ang both, so we must opt for the more feasible solution.
Pa hawa-on ang squaters nya mag road widening dayon.

Rama ra jud ang naay political will..
so dapat jud Road Widening...
and plss.. Congressman Osmena.. mind your own job..paghimo na ug laws..instead cge sour graping !
Cebuanos both need you..pls.. stop those political wars!
For a better Cebu.. Support Road Widening!
my 2 cents:
1. Cancellation of all PUJ franchises and re.application but under stricter rules and guidelines for the vehicles (capacity and condition of vehicle must be of utmost importance in qualifying). Limit the number of approved franchises only according to what the roads can take.
2. Operators should pay drivers a regular wage and not use the boundary system. This goes the same for Taxis. In order to be qualified, drivers have to undergo stringent screening by the operators.
3. We all know there is only a time of day where vehicle numbers substantially increase (rush hour). During these times, the whole road network system of the city becomes a 'no fault' zone for both drivers and passengers. Impose penalties that would really hurt to 'teach' everyone lessons. Also, during these time, fares become double for short travels - to encourage walking. That way, the operators 'recoup' enough to pay the drivers a daily wage.
4. For public utility vehicles coming in from outside of the city, regulate it's entry, specially during traffic hours.
Right now, the transport system is like a putting up a sari-sari store. Everyone wants a piece of the action. Who wouldn't when the operators merely wait for the end of the day to get their money. This should not be the case. It should be run like a real business. Since having a franchise is a privilege, let those who apply for it qualify. There should be guidelines like minimum number of vehicles per operator (abolish the kabit system), availability of a well tooled/equipped garage, etc.
As for the passengers, let's all learn to walk. It doesn't cost anything, and it is healthy.
