Yea for sure, God is all-listening and can even hear what's in ur heart. that's so beautiful. but yea now that i've experienced this way of praying, the feeling is just overwhelming..i feel so much closer to God. it's good for ur health too!

how about when Jesus (pbuh) died for 3 days. was God only now 2? and then 3 again?

You are again applying basic arithmetic to GOD. Do you really believe that you can reduce HIS infinite power into a simple law of addition and subtraction?

P.S. Still you didn't answer my previous question. Why are you so convinced that 1 X 1 = 1 is correct?

It's logical that it equals itself coz it's only multiplied...once...

regardin the first question: no! but this "holy trinity" reduces His infinite power by reducing him to 3 things. is it 3 in 1 or 1 in 3 to u?

And what makes you believe that any number multiplied once always result to the same number? What about 1 X 1 X 1 = 1? We have multiplied the number thrice already, why did the operation still produce 1 (not 3)? If this is possible in the context of arithmetic, do you really think it is impossible in the context of GOD's infinite power to have this equation:

    1 Father X 1 Son X 1 Holy Spirit = 1 GOD?

And who told you that the holy trinity is a THING?

^^ don't feel insulted, u know i don't mean anything bad by saying "things". things isn't a bad word. no one told me it's a thing. i just typed it, so forgive me.

    I don't think it's impossible but u can say 1+1+1 = 3. or 3/3=1 <--there's ur 3 in one.

No, I didn't feel insulted. I was shocked. Because you said that you were once a catholic but I guess all catholic know that trinity is not a thing. If somebody claims to be a muslim and she tells you that Allah is a thing, I guess you will feel the same.

    And you can also say 1 X 1 X 1 = 1, right?

By the way, I guess 3/3 = 1 is not a good candidate for the equation of trinity because you have two variables having 3 as their value (numerator & denominator) but there is only one 3 in the given (trinity).

Seriously speaking, we catholic believe in trinity because GOD revealed it to HIS people through the bible and through HIS church. If you don't trust the bible and the church, then there is no point in discussing trinity in details.

I always believe that understanding GOD is not by imperative projections or scientific research or whatever .. it is first of all an experience of GOD who reveals Himself, first through a chosen people, Israelites and the prophets; second, through Jesus Christ, His Son and our Lord and Savior .. and the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, dwelling within us, granting us wisdom to know the things of GOD and the humility to accept those we cannot Understand about Him...

It is good to question, as one philosopher would put it: ..it is the beginning of wisdom! However, it is one thing to question in order to learn .. and another thing, to question and be arrogant of our preconceived ideas/opinions, etc ..

I think, before we question, there should be a premise .. and that is: our lack of knowledge .. so we want to know. Pero ako tan-aw, daghang mga pangutana ngari nga thread are bounded more on arrogance .. than the willingness to know.

Ako i share lang ang usa ka site nga basin makatabang sa tanan nga dunay question about the catholic faith .. as I have said above: to be catholic is .. not about a set of Dogma to accept only .. but first of all, a life lived in the experience of our Lord!

I click ninyo ang site .. Why I'm Catholic - Catholic Conversion Stories
