Gikan mismo sa Catechism of The Catholic Church (the official text of the teachings of the Catholic Church) :

    CCC 1261

As regards children who have died without baptism, the Church can only entrust them to the mercy of God, as she does in her funeral rites for them. Indeed, the great mercy of God who desires that all men should be saved, and Jesus’ tenderness toward children which caused him to say: "Let the children come to me, do not hinder them," allow us to hope that there is a way of salvation for children who have died without baptism. All the more urgent is the Church’s call not to prevent little children coming to Christ through the gift of holy baptism.
    CCC 1283

With respect to children who have died without Baptism, the liturgy of the Church invites us to trust in God's mercy and to pray for their salvation.

GODship is a nature, not a rank. It wouldn't make sense to say that the offspring of a goat is a chicken. So, if the father's nature is GOD, then logically it follows that the son's nature is GOD.

You have quoted John chapter 14. That means you believe that at least that part of the bible (I mean the Gospel of John) is true. In the same Gospel of John, it is written clearly the the Son (Jesus) is GOD.
    John 1:1
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

    John 1:14
The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

    John 1:18
No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who IS himself God.

Never in the bible does Jesus (pbuh) explicitly say he's God though.
Does God eat/sleep/defecate? Can God suffer? God had no beginning, Jesus was born.
Jesus doesn't say "worship me, I'm your creator".
If you go through the Old Testament, you can see God's attributes which He's explicit about who He is.

Please, don't think I'm being disrespectful or anything, that's not my intention. I hope I'm not hurting anyone's feelings.
