Hey Guys!!! Everyone is still in a frenzy over the recently concluded Miss Universe 2011 Pageant.

As we all know, Miss Angola bagged the title Miss Universe 2011. But as a Filipino, I was definitely betting for Miss Shamcey Supsup, who was crowned 3rd Place.

It was only Shamcey, who did not need the help of an interpreter, the rest of the contestants had their own.

This is good news for us Filipinos, even Oprah Winfrey voiced her reservations over the result of Miss Universe 2011.

Here is what she said:

“‘I have reservations with the results. If the only basis is the Q and A portion, after having been trimmed down to 5, Ms. Philippines deserved to win. What made her different from the rest is that she had no seconds to rethink of her answer as she had no interpreter to break the ice. The rest had their interpreters and having breaks on seconds to think about their answers. Hands down, Ms. Philippines answered straight to the point.” – via NBC News
