Common Guitar Delay Settings of Popular Bands

U2 have different delay settings depending on songs. Here are two songs my nephew played. The riff in Beautiful Day actually has 2 or 3 delays in circuit. The Fly also has delay but in a different way. So it really depends on what song. Check these out:

there's a link somewhere that explains the nuances of U2's The Edge delay settings. Just google it, I think it's a whole new topic of its own. IMHO, nobody uses and abuses the delay more than The Edge. and I mean it in a goooood way.

I posted this elsewhere but I will post here. My nephew who just turned 15 a few months ago idolizes The Edge. I think he has studied his delay settings well and here are the results. My nephew is just Cebu-based so maybe you can set up a meeting with him and he can help you with The Edge's settings. I think they change every song.

I am not really an expert since I am just a casual guitar player. The only gear he has that I know is the Line6 M13 effects pedal.

I think he can get the delays there.

Some songs like the main riff of Beautiful Day are much more complicated as there are three delays running together to get the correct sound.
