The reason being that for a standalone system it is cheap and very reliable. As compared to installing a black top ecu coupled with some piggy back fuel controllers, with the Megasquirt you can adjust every parameter on your engine and the tuning can be tailored to your needs. Moreover you will have room for future mods if you want, such as going forced induction or making it a wild NA engine.

At Group B we can offer you an installation package of a megasquirt2 including tuning and dyno for a total price of only 45k.

@flak128mm, if budget isn't an issue, you can go crazy with the ST. dont discard the velocity stacks (if that's what you mean with the ram tubes). vpower is fine, pero try mo sir ang blaze 100. ang AF at timing map kasi ng ST, ginawa ng mga hapon for 100 octane.
NOS nalang para instant... 1 time big time...
Ok rin lan e turbo ang 20v ST may naisip ako combination of parts sa ibang toyota engine trial and error parin cyempre... Kung may toyota lang ako bubu.o ako uli ng turbo...

Piggyback ecus or fuel controllers are meant to alter the signal of your sensors and not remove it. there are some piggy back systems such as the mapecu2 that claim tha you can remove your afm by making an afm simulation signal but using this method the car will never be perfect and will have some hesitation. Moreover, the cost of the megasquirt 2 is just the same as piggyback systems that alows you to remove the afm sensor. The best value for money really is the megasquirt system.

salamat sa info bossing...i think i need to recondition the engine internally first as i am the 3rd owner and the previous owners didnt bother to take care of the car :/ sayang hindi nila alam ang potential nang 4age engine
