with your budget you can get an intel core i3 / AMD x3 with 1gb videocard, 2gb ram, 320gb hdd... i would recommend this brands ACER, MSI, ASUS, LENOVO. while DELL, TOSHIBA & MAC are expensive. stay away from HP, ECS, Gateway & Neo Brands.

Take it from me (just bought a laptop), lenovo is the best laptop there is.
As in d jd xa mu init ang iyang ubos unlike sa other laptop brands (last laptop i had was acer and grb mu init).
d jd ka mg mahay.
I think barato naman ron ang mga laptops. Maka nindot nka ana na budget.eno
Cguro for school purposes with small gaming ok na gni na mga core 2 duo.
Pero karon kn gusto jd ka mg ultimate dota without lag opt for i3 or even i5.
I just bought my lenovo laptop sa thinking tools (cla ang pinaka barato na store dre kai ako na gilibot tanan cyberzone) ang i5 nani tag 31,700... sa uban stores ma abot na ni ug 35K.
ang i3 nila is 30k. so if i were you pg save nlng ug kunte then ipaabot ug 30k kn nahan jd ka wai lag imu dota. hehehe
