mga bros, tig gamit mo ug IP BLockers? ryt now kay i'm using Peer Guardian 2.
PG2 is good. It does what it shall do, no more, no less, blocking IP's. I also use it on my server and other computers and it blocks nicely. I also use it to block spammer before they reach my mailserver.Originally Posted by pogy_uy
@softtouch_ph: i'm a noob at PG2, i'm just curious what is a source and destination? does the source means the user which is me? and destination means the IP sites i am surfing at? Help.
Source is the IP address of the packet transmitter.Originally Posted by pogy_uy
Destination is where the packet is going.
These numbers are displayed in this format: xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:yyyyy where x is the IP address and y is the port.
Your system’s IP will be one of these (unless you’re acting as a gateway).
If your IP appears in the Source field the packet is part of an out-bound connection or an attempt to start one.
Destination, obviously, is the opposite of Source and if your IP is in this field it is an inbound connection or attempt to start one.
