    ehehe! true...most of my students are professionals... like engineers, teachers, businessmen... So even if i am the teacher, I feel that I'm learning a lot from them too.

    exactly..kay my friends ESL mn pd ang uban..they sed na if professional imo student dali ra nmo ma tudluan kay they knw some of the terms nmn ang uban kay dli professional ila stdent sipat kuno kau...

    so far, murag wala koy student na dili maminaw...mura'g they are all interested na makat-on.
    sometimes lg cgru not participative kay tired, it's not like dili maminaw. ihihi!

    so how do u make the lesson interesting..like u know before the time start u sing a song ba..

    u juggle bottles ba..lyk wats ur styl so they would listen...

    or so they would u know open their mind to the lesson of the day...


    in short wats ur strategy to make them listen,,

    way back 2004 when I started my ESL career it was tough because no proper training was given to those interested individuals. But now 2011, Cebu government is promoting ESL industry along side with tourism. I should say that ESL teaching is also a very rewarding job for those who are serious about it. I have also tried working in the call center but never liked it. If you want to venture into ESL teaching but you have no training or background and you want to be serious about it, please send me an email cuz I know someone who does ESL training to career shifters with no education units.

    fyi ESL teaching is totally different from teaching or learning English in our regular Philippine schools. It is more fun and learning is two way.
