road widening ug fly over pariha rani ug result..ang problema jud every month is daghan nga bago nga sakyanan ang ma add..so traffic ra jud gihapon..maayo unta kanang nga kaarang sakyanan dili na e renew sa LTO...

ahhh. that doesnt answer my query about how many flyovers are to be built and why 600+million when it cost only 100+mil sa bantal..

anyhow the lobbyist in the link you provided are businessmen who's lands and businesses are affected in the bantal construction.. as you know properties beneath fly overs depreciates. businesses also...

the house beside the bank infront of BTC is also a lobbyist when part of his property was hit by the "roadwidening." (building fly over also needs widening)

that 600 million is allocated for the flyover and "widening" daw. as for the widening ana nga budget, unsa raman ma widen ana ba. ma widen raman ang dalan diha sa stretch sa flyover ra mismo. after pila ka meters balik ra bottleneck. take for example kanang banilad flyover. going up towards countrymall, inig abot sa after metrobank (front of BTC) maghuot na kay wa gitiwas ang pag widen sa dalan. pulpol nang gi tawag nila nga widening. para nako best solution unta anang banilad flyover is start from as fortuna intersection and up to chevrolet display center unta. kay nka cause ug traffic diha kanang entry/exit sa countrymall kanang ubos sa skywalk. naay mu left turn going talamban, naay mu left turn going inside countrynall. mao nay naka traffic diha. ang resulta, free flowing traffic from the flyover, puno dayun sa sakyanan trapik dayun diha sa skywalk area. or all in all, a wider road in that area would have been more significant. and mao na ang gi ingun nga gi studyhan?? paila lang jud na ga apas sa kwarta. and end result, trapik ghapon diha sa banilad labi na afternoon/evening rush hours. pulpol ghapon nga proyekto.

nindot ang flyover basta dako ang dalan before and after it kay flowing naman ang trapik. kung road widening lang, ma trapik gihapon tungod sa intersections.
for me, flyover is better but flyover + road widening is the best.
