Why did God create Evil?
hmmm...
I think God didn't create Evil. He "created" Satan but not Evil... Why is God good? why is Satan bad?They just are...
Evil is something that one does to another that isnt' right. Evil isnt created, it is done.

But God probably made Satan and Hell to keep the evil people from messing things up in Earth and Heaven.

The real concept if is that he did not create the evil... but it exist when lucifer has his pride to overcome the power of the lord.... di ba it is found in the bible...... So there the only evcil is the pride of every personality...

Maybe because God wants to have a follower that is not programmed to follow His words. We are put into a world where we have free will, it's our choice, whether we follow what He had taught us or to go against Him and to embrace evil. It's our choice..

Why was evil created?

Because good is highly overrated and insecure. Nothing more than a bunch of self righteous twits running around trying to tell everyone to be as holy as they are and condemning those who do not conform.

Actually, when one thinks about it, what IS evil? Something, a practice or belief, could be evil to one person and yet be completely acceptable to someone else. It is when people fail to realize this uniqeness that trouble begins.

Evil is nothing more than the label of someone who belives that what he/she is doing is the absolute good on something that he/she is completely against. A fabricated lie by the paranoid religious fanatic, if you will. If you believe in the same way they do, then you're one of them and, therefore, are one of the saved. If not, then you're the enemy and will therefore burn in hell.

No matter how long and how hard one debates over and over the vitues and moralities and dogmas that makes a certain practice or practices "evil", it will always boil down to personal beliefs and preferences and, most importantly, the freedom to choose.

They will argue it's in the bible that such and such a thing is wrong. Pfff. The Bible's nothing more than just a book written by men caught in the same religious fervor that caught those who wrote about the Norse, Roman and Egyptian Gods. Only reason why it still exists today is that more and more people found the teachings much more pratical than the almost warlike teachings of the older religions. Who in their right minds would continue worshipping a god who treats his worshippers as pieces of a chessgame, with no value whatsoever? Is it not better to believe that some omnipotent being actually cares for us? Yes. And so the lie propagated. As it spread, so did their concepts of "good" and "evil" an the fanatics willing to shed blood for that Word.

When one looks back at it, it's actually laughable to think that a religion built around the best of human hopes and fantasies outlived the older religions, enforced and taught by insecure and immature brats in the guise of learned men and women, who had no qualms about killing those who defied them. Wait, I feel that laugh coming up.
