Know the business of the company first before you buy. See to it that company will last in the long term. T_T! "Don't buy stocks, buy the business." - Warren Buffet. Dili kaayo direct to the point ang statement ni Warren, hehehe! Pina parable ug style. It means know the business of the company you want to invest.

Solid Jollibee Shares ko, being also an employee for JFC company for last 17 years.

I bought shares last 2000 for only 8 pesos (employee tranche). Sold some of them. Its around 85 pesos currently. If my math knowledge serves me right- that's 1000% plus growth.

it will really vary bai. I know people who have big gains after 5 years but some wala sad.

depende rajud na sa kugi ug discipline ug time.

ma technical ka, ma fundamental, or both, mokwarta jud ka as long as you know what you are doing.

but if wala kay time mag monitor or magtuon, then pwede rapud mutual funds. The gains are lesser but wala man pud kay buhaton.
Average 10 year performance sa mga solid MFs are earning 15% to 20% per annum still better than 4% sa time deposit.

If you invest direct, I'm sure the winning stock investors have 30% or higher 10 year average. But they spend time studying and monitoring the markets.

    hi TS

ako rajud ma sulti kong gusto ka mo sud aning stocks is moderate your greed. don't go all in at once. i have my losses too but i learned quickly,i recover it all after i learned the virtue of patience. also pick the stocks you really believe would grow xx times in a couple of years. don't go with the hype study the stock you want to buy!

there are misconceptions in the stock market people say that it is like gambling.... but the truth is its not.
in gambling when you bet and lose, you loss all your money, in stocks when you bet and lose you still have your stocks.

at the end of the day it all depends on your strategy, if you want to be a day trader, or a mid/long-term investor.

    I'll teach you some techniques:

1.) Buy at the closing, those stocks that are above 10% gain to 40% gain (current day) with respect to volumes and number of traders... the next day sell it all at the opening for 3-6% gain or the first initial 15-30mins.. do not wait too long. when you sell you need to sell 1 slot cheaper of the current cheapest seller to make sure you can get out(if you are not selling at the opening).

there are 2 things that can happen it can either continue its momentum or loss it all. the important thing is you gain and you have your capital safe.

2.) observe the graph for the last 3 months, read news about the stock and goto forums like traderspizza.com, stockmarketpilipinas.com and check their sentiments before getting in.

3.) buy on weakness sell on rallies (buy cheap sell high)

4.) buy and hold for your trader's price

    that is all
