Most Business Class laptops (Real Thinkpads not Thinkpad Edge or X Series, HP Probooks etc.) have IPS Displays... some even have color calibration hardware....

Wala lang jud na sila diri sa pinas kay Noone buys them because they are not that good looking ( but I think thinkpads are sexy )

ok, medyo OT na ta but i'll just butt in this time.

not all thinkpads are using IPS panels, only specific ones. Although that used to be true a few years ago then there was a shortage/problem with the lcd panel suppliers. Among others, I know that the X1 has an IPS panel, the others I forgot.

on the contrary, thinkpads are available here in the philippines. it's not just marketed along with the entry-level laptops.

I use an HP LP2475w rev 2.0 monitor (S-IPS) which uses the same LG Panel tech sa apple monitors. However, ang apple monitors have poor response times and input lag... something my monitor doesn't have issues with and cost much less.

On that not note: wla lang available ang mga monitors i speak of sa pinas.... but really, i can find monitors that can stomp on the mac monitors for less but not in the phils lang. Diba foshow? haha

Diba ang kato ra mang latest monitor sa mac, kato thunderbolt ang IPS? the rest, dili, hinoon sharp gyapon pero kay dili man ips, narrow ra gyud iyang viewing angle
