There are still lots of things that science can't explain.

Science cannot explain many things, as our technology is evolving & our knowledge incomplete. Back then, many mysterious natural occurrences were 'explained' by religion but now are debunked by science.

The real world is more amazing & wonderful than any supernatural/religious creation myths that keep you from thinking and searching for rational explanations. Like this for example: how do you explain the back and forth movements of Mars in our solar system?

I was a Catholic and was always wondering about God and how everything came to be. What made me turn to Islam (and what sparked my interest in it) was when I read the scientific miracles in the Quran. The answers are all there! From how we were embryos developing in three stages to how once the universe was nothing but a cloud of smoke. These were the words of God written in the Quran. Modern science made these discoveries not that long ago compared to 1400+ years ago (the revelation of the Quran). Now I love science, it was one of my favourite subjects and science just proved just how accurate the statements in the holy book are

Back then, many mysterious natural occurrences were 'explained' by religion but now are debunked by science.

And in modern times, science is 'debunking' itself. Matud sa mga scientist kaniadto: Atom is the smallest indivisible particle which all matters are made of.

But guess what? Another group of scientists discovered that an atom itself is made up of sub-atomic particles (proton, electron, neutrons). In short, atom is actually divisible. Science debunked itself.

Years later, science accepted the 'standard model of physics' which asserts that protons themselves are made up of small particles called quarks.

More years later, some scientists came up with idea that all matters are actually made up of very, very tiny strands of vibrating energy which the called string.
