I sat down with my soon-to-be mother in law after Arabic lessons with her. She's a kind lady, she's beautiful inside and out. If you think about how many ppl there are in the world and that there are ppl like her...then, our world is beautiful.

She wud remind me about what the holy Quran says what we must do: be kind to everyone, respect parents, live healthy, etc. All these unfortunate events happening like natural disasters and recent riots, she said, is God's way of showing us that the world is getting closer to the end.

Our world is beautiful! I don't think God wud have placed us here if we cudn't breathe on it, eat from it...it's just sad that we can't take care of it.

It's also sad that some people's lives revolve around technology - becoming more advanced while making us lazier, wanting more and spending more and forgetting the simpler things in life.
