It is because we are a limited being and we have no idea about the supernatural. That's why God revealed himself in the person of Christ for us to understand these things. Now this takes faith for those things were beyond our reach..like the day when he created the universe.

You can't compare a man of faith and a man of science and say that they are the same (although there ARE scientists who are religious). A man of science can outright admit that he doesn't know answers to questions outside his field of expertise. A man of faith pretends to know the answers, but can't admit that he doesn't, because to him saying "I don't know" is a sign of weakness.

that's the problem with the atheist and not the religious, you don't recognize religion. However the religious recognize science. If you base your motivation on proofs, we base our motivation on feelings. As long as a man knows how to love and hope, it goes hand in hand with faith. Recognizing only in what you can see is too shallow.

But would you agree with me if I say that what the scientists do have basis? They don't just do what they feel like doing. Those (experiments) were backed up by solid studies and facts.

The religion does not need a proof to continue. Dili lang k kaccept na pareha sila kay di man ka mubelieve. Your brain is stopping you from believing because you already placed a guard in there saying "no proof, no entry"

i don't see it as "maybe his time has come" or " 'god' has good/better plans for that guy".
he died because he drowned, because he failed to help himself. he was unable to cope up to that situation. no one's to blame but the coast guard himself. parehas anang nasakit ug cancer or unsa pang matang sa sakit, something must have triggered it to occur on someone.

same as good things happen to people in general. it didn't occur to them because something or someone rewarded them for being good or tungod nga ilang loyalty sa ilang beliefs or it's part of the "plan", opinyon lang ni nako ha.
WE make OUR plans. the person merely made it realize himself/herself alone. he/she worked hard for it, so the person gets what he want/need. others used faith to motivate themselves, which is never bad or harmful in the first place. if in ana ila paagi, knsa man tawn ko nga pugngan nako sila?

the problem with those people who don't believe in God is that they want proof about God, a proof that would fit to their knowledge. and the best thing they can do is sometimes to argue, ask you question that you can answer which they refuse believe and if you ask them the same question, they'll answer with their own understanding. well that's them. whats important is that you have heard about God. the Trinity. you need not to believe in God. in the end, one of us will be victor.

It is part of the reasons why I don't believe in god. Because if he does exists, he should have done something to prevent people from killing each other.

That is always your line of defense when atheists talk about your god. Of course, we should talk about him because he is made a subject to this discussion. Why are you worried if we talk about him?
