I understand the Sunburn is Mach 3 but with their short range their carriers(boats) will be detected before they are able to launch.
RIM-162 is Mach 4 and like I said if the operators are alert there should be no problem.

What is a salvo? 2 missiles? With the available boats they have it can't be many. Aegis can track and engage more than 100 targets at over 100 nautical mile range. Unless they run out of ammo I don 't think Iran has enough missiles and boats to do much damage.

Again, why do you think the the US Navy will attack Iran?
