we are just creating an enclave to be divided---we are dis-attaching ourselves as bisaya (we are still and very much bisaya as we are cebuanos) from fellow filipinos like tagalogs.

    I know it's there's an ongoing social issue between cebuanos/bisaya and tagalogs/manilans
and we are just widening or fortifying the walls between to regional "rivals"

kita mga cebuanos we don't wanna associate ourselves as bisaya..and why is that?
Again, I was not stressing a point of comparison between tagalogs and cebuanos.

My question is WHY? is it not clear enough for everyone?

dili diay na bias para sa akoa nga tagalog ko then my side is sa cebuanos? MEANING, dili "kana" akong tumong...

@ TS: naa may point imong pangutana bai..but making a thread about it might be too much. sensitibo man ni nga issue bai. labi nang naay tagalog nga makabasa diri. just look at the thread about davao/cebu (asay nindot puy-an), naglalis na kay lain2 ang pag-sabot sa tao..parehas raman untang bisaya og pinulungan. samot na kung ingon ani...

my lolo & papa are tagalog my mama is davaoena..& i am born & raised in cebu...it doesn't mean i am better than them nor them better than me right?! & besides, as what i've heard, daghan kaayong bisaya didto sa luzon bai. nagbaha...basin sila ang atong gikomparahan og ininglish vs sa mga bisaya diri..

hinoon, it's your right to make a thread man sad.. good luck nalang. i hope way lalis diri

    TS
my point is also...why is it you're so certain that most tagalogs or any from other regions other that cebu is having difficulties speaking in english?
    I mean I'm a cebuano..I don't even know if I'm pure (cebuano) or not...but it doesn't matter
Have you based your claims on statistics or you did a survey yourself combing the tagalog speaking region
    before establishing your claims?

as I don't want to claim who's better or not. but this never ending is just fueled by the ongoing trend of notion---cebuanos being "looked down" by tagalogs and in return we claim we are "better" english speakers...and like in some utan-bisaya sa akong suki nga carenderia before, this issue is overcooked na kaayo
