@ sæmunder: I was able to play once a JS 2000. I don't know if this is the one you're referring to but this one has superior playability. I also think it's quite light in weight compared to most electric guitars. The DiMarzio pickups seem to produce the so called "not of this eart" tones of Joe Satch. Since you're also into collecting guitars and you can afford it, then go for it bro. Nothing goes wrong with a high quality Ibanez guitar. But for me, i'm stll hooked up with a vintage Fender Strat. I just love the clean tone it produces. :mrgreen:

I've read in other forums nga they'd buy the JS100 and change the pick-ups similar to the JS1200 and reported the performance as fairly the same..well, the same wood are used in both so i wouldn't be surprised..Ibanez necks are really great..grabe ka swabe...

Strat60 - can't go wrong with vintage Fenders..hard to get a hold of one lang and mahal..huhu though mas ganahan ko sa ilang American Deluxe nga models with the SCN pick-ups, super clean sad kau! OT: what do u have in your closet man?

piece of advise.......pahimo mo JEM guitar body diri cebu but better buy a prestige neck in ebay. original prestige necks are way better than pahimo ka. they differ more in price but its worth it.

I agree bro. Mas maayo jud nga original ang neck. Ok ra ari lang pa himo sa body kay ma templahan paman. Kuha naman na sa mga maayo craftman diri ato-a.
