... then walk from that new mcdonald to metro colon strip, or maybe buy mangoes under the Manila Bank building. But not necessarily at night. If not, ride a 10F route with all your shiny-thingies, for sure they'll be all gone when you reach the gap between panganiban and bacalso street, just before V.Rama.

... what is to be done with them ?? Even when there's police around those areas, the snatchers still do their "thing" coz they can assure themselves that they can outrun the police since the police have very very round bellies.

Let me repeat: How can you come to the conclusion that the vigilantes are hunting down chronic criminals when you clearly admitted that you CANNOT actually identify who is killing whom? Perhaps you have a crystal ball in between your ears?

The fact remains that Colon is far safer than many places in Manila. In fact, Cebu City in general is far, far safer than Manila any day of the week. And yet Manila doesn't have a vigilante problem!

And I'm sitll waiting for you to prove your accusation that the press collaborated to sensationalize the killing of the old tombstrone maker. As usual, all you give is lots of hot air, no evidence.

The police may be doing their best in apprehending criminals.  Yet they can never be that effective 24/7.  I'm with this vigilantes thing.  I wish I could join them.....hehehe.

Try a few passes at night in Tondo doing what I did in Colon and you'll experience the BIG difference (but you may not live to tell about it). You really yack a lot about things you know nothing about.

... Manila may not have it's vigilante "problem", but Manila has a very high crime rate. you said it yourself that manila is like hell, specifically Tondo. And why is that?? The thugs in Tondo seems to be untouchable. I've lived in manila, loyola street sampaloc, and by god, it's damn scary. you can't go out alone and i've witnessed a hold-up right in front of my eyes and across the street is a policeman who saw it too but didn't do anything. Would you rather have cebu city like that??
