There's also reports of keycaps popping out.

You shouldn't have to do that bay especially the price you pay for it. I dunno about you guys but I personally won't tolerate anything less than perfect for a high performance/premium product.

that's the cause, the spacebar key loose and after a day or two of initial typing it eventually popped out.

I'm just saying if it's fairly fixable under just an hour, then it's less of a trouble than having to go out and sending it backing and waiting for days, maybe even weeks or a month for a replacement.

And I bought mine mainly for the tactility/feel, durability was just secondary. I thought it was already a bargain with backlit keys, usb/extensions, gloss finish compared to the more premium DAS, Filcos. mind you, I paid 30% more with mine because I bought it from abroad because the shipping was free. first customs experience, paid more than I thought I could've bargained for.

nope haven't heard of it til now. It'd be great though if Razer were also to offer optional better 'better feel' keys to mate with the current switches. I wouldn't hesitate to take apart all keys one by one heheh

i dunno if compatible sa BW but there are a lot of customized ABS and PBT keys out there. I would recommend getting PBT though as they are higher quality and don't 'shine' as fast. i'm also planning to do that to my MJ.
