Me and my friend made a thorough study about water refilling station in lapu-lapu city. Our feasibility is intended solely for both of us because we wanted to put-up the business but we don not have the resources yet. We came to conclusion By experience also, focus on geographic selling and service supported by a solid business system will ensure that a certain chosen geographic location is going to be a cornered market by an efficient delivery system at the most reasonable cost. The solid business system is composed of efficient monitoring of customers and monitoring of the reusable (expensive) bottles. Strict recording of business data e.g. sales, expenses, cash counts, bottle cycle time and distribution location is strictly complementary to each other. The steady supply of the reusable bottle is one key business area where almost all other refilling stations are lost in how to monitor and replenish. This is to meet the costumers demand for affordable yet efficient delivery of the product.

Even if there are existing stations already, this does not affect our business viability since our system of attending to end users and costumers is not practiced by them. One difficulty of existing water stations is to completely turn around from making use of their station as a “cash cow” or “killing the goose that lays the egg.”
Next, and strictly a complement of the first, is to grasp the business as a service/product package totally supported by the most efficient delivery and monitoring service system.
Almost all other refilling station business owners regard data keeping and interpretation as time consuming and a headache.

Personnel and staff empowerment e.g. decision making and ownership of responsibilities, partnership in business growth through business performance based bonus and above average pay is almost always not practiced.
Marketing efforts of the station personnel is most often non-existent.

The existing stations can only initially react by lowering prices which in turn can disable more their ability to serve their delivery demands for bottles and services. Attempt to copy the system will require a manager experienced in business systems, set up data base for reference in decision making, training personnel- all amounting to almost a year minimum to establish. Sustaining the effort is even more demanding.

at this point, there are too many water refilling stations already. if you really want to pursue this, i think it will be more practical to be a dealer first. you just need containers and a multicab.. maybe around 150K investment. buy water from the refilling stations at a cheap price, and look for customers and deliver it to them at a higher price. the challenge here is to look for customers because most likely your customers are already buying it somewhere else. what will be your marketing strategy? because from consumer's point of view, water is basically water. the consumer's decision factor will be the price, delivery timeliness, taste and cleanliness. if you cannot offer anything new or better than what they are already getting, you will have a hard time convincing them to buy from you. chances are your friends and neighbors will buy from you, but how many are they? if you can find many customers already and you decide that it is worth setting up your own refilling station, then that is the time to invest your money.

and take note that everybody can easily open this type of business. if 2 or 3 more refilling stations open beside you, how will you beat them? you have to answer this before investing in this business.
