a. Mama Mary Shrine-a large statue of Our Lady of Assumption situated on top of the hill in brgy. mantahan overlooking the whole poblacion, giving you a spectacular view of the port area and the sea.
b. Monte Cueva Chapel-a chapel inside a cave situated on top of the hill in brgy. tuburan where a holy mass is being held daily.
c. Cagnituan Underground River-this one is a must, think of smaller version of Puerto Princesa Underground River with a twist. There a waterfall on the first level, but upon reaching the second level, you will be greeted with a massive cave opening with breast level water coming out...then...basta adto na lang para suspense! To go there, take the road in brgy. ma. clara (where a fresh water spring-pool is a local fave).
d. Dagkotanan sa Hanginan-San Francisco de Javier Chapel-this is one pilgrimage site where on fridays, people from Maasin and nearby towns visit and pray for safe travel, for good health, for passing in board exams, and for blessings. Grabe gyud kakapoy ang pagbaktas, pero rewarding man pud ig-abot didto. The mountain view is breathtaking. Besides, don't forget to bring home some blessed oil og pagpabendisyon sa santo. Tangtang gyud kakapoy. Sikat pud ang bingka sa mga taga hanginan.
e. Maasin Cathedral-a century old structure where the image of Our Lady of Assumption (believed to be miraculous) is holding place.
