I believe there's a race out there that's far greater than us. One day they prolly got bored with their sooo perfect world and immortality that they decided to create us as an experiment to find out what would a world be like when it's populated with a bunch of crazy-ass maniacs who has free will but also destined to mortality. I betcha they envy us to some degree. Mankind ftw!
for the sheer effects of boredom, i'll be such a filibuster and say "i do not believe in any divine beings' existence."
now hand me a cup of coffee.

yeah
i believe in God, the father Almighty,...i believe in his son Jesus Christ...i believe in the Holy Spirit...
No, I don't. There's no proof of the existance of "god", and that's good enough for me.
Read a book by Richard Dawkins. His work is very compelling.
i understand. i guess even if God appeared before our very eyes, we would still think it was hallucination or something. there can never be enough good proofs.Originally Posted by jimmer

anyway, that's a personal experience and so I am personally convinced there is a God. And also, the older I get, the more I believe in (and need) a God. Man, life's difficult. However, I am aware of the disillusionment people get with religion. I know many people who are disillusioned with their particular religions, but most would still claim they believe in God.
There's a line that goes to this effect --> Why wouldn't I believe in God? There's nothing to lose but everything to gain.
That pretty sums up my convictions.
